How to project Bible verses from a phone or computer

There are three broad ways to get Bible verses onto a TV or projector at church — from a phone, from a computer, or automatically from the sermon. Here's how each works, what it's good for, and how to connect it to your screen.

Method 1: From a phone or tablet

Phone-based Bible presenter apps let you search a verse and cast it to a Smart TV or projector wirelessly. Simple and portable — great for a small room or a midweek group.

Pros — cheap, quick, nothing to install on a PC.
Cons — manual, limited design control, and wireless casting can be laggy or drop.
Connect via — screen mirroring/casting to a Smart TV, or an HDMI adapter.

Method 2: From a computer

Church presentation software on a Windows or Mac laptop gives you full control of themes, fonts and multiple screens. This is the standard for most weekend services.

Pros — reliable, designable, handles songs and slides too, connects cleanly to a projector.
Cons — still manual: someone searches and clicks each verse.
Connect via — HDMI to the projector, set to extend, not duplicate.

Method 3: Automatically, from the sermon
